O'BRIEN METAL ROOFING PTY LTD is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Roof Plumber.
Responsibilities: Examines roof structures to identify damage, leaks or defects and carries out necessary repairs.
Removes old or damaged roofing materials and ensures proper disposal.
Measures, cuts and installs roofing materials.
Applies waterproofing materials to roof surfaces and walls to prevent water penetration.
Installs and repairs roof flashings to seal joints and prevent water leakage.
Measures, fabricates and installs gutters and downpipes for effective rainwater drainage.
Measures, cuts and fixes timber battens and roof framing components to support roofing materials.
Repairs or replaces damaged timber roof members and other supporting components where required.
Uses hand and power tools to cut,



shape and secure roofing and timber components in accordance with construction specifications.
Skills: Relevant experience in roof plumbing or an equivalent relevant trade qualification.
Experience in measuring, cutting and installing roofing materials and timber roof components.
Knowledge of waterproofing methods, roof drainage systems and basic roof framing repairs.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements and specifications.
Competent in using hand and power tools and following workplace health and safety requirements, including working safely at heights.
