Reporting to the Manager, Banking Operations - Payments, you will provide operational leadership, coaching, technical expertise as a trusted second-in-charge (2IC), supporting day-to-day workflow, complex escalations & the delivery of high-quality payment services.This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across payment operations, leadership, risk management, stakeholder engagement, projects and continuous improvement, with the prospect to make a meaningful impact on team capability & operational excellence.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking operations professional looking to broaden their leadership capability while remaining close to operational delivery.Top Role Accountabilities:Act as the Manager's delegate & second-in-charge, providing day-to-day operational leadership, workflow oversight, coaching, guidance & supportChampion team capability through training, knowledge sharing,



quality reviews & cross-trainingSupport procedure reviews, process enhancements & continuous improvement activitiesAct as a senior subject matter expert for payments operations, investigations & transaction services, providing guidance on complex matters and escalationsProcess & authorise domestic, international & foreign currency transactions in accordance with policy & regulatory requirementsManage complex customer requests, payment exceptions & operational issues while delivering exceptional serviceSupport risk management activities including quality assurance, control testing, incident management & remediationEnsure compliance with internal policies, regulatory obligations & industry standardsBuild strong stakeholder relationships & contribute to system testing, process change & operational resilience initiativesTo be successful you will have:5+ years' experience in banking operations, payments, transaction services or a related financial services environmentStrong understanding of banking operations, payments processing, compliance & risk managementKnowledge of banking products, including lending, deposits & payment servicesAn understanding of regulatory requirements including AML/CTF,
