About the role
St John of God Midland Public Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse with a strong background in
acute surgical nursing
to join our team as a
Clinical Nurse
.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership capabilities within a agile surgical environment.
This position will be offered on a permanent part-time basis, working 30 hours per week.
It presents an excellent opportunity for current Registered Nurses to develop and strengthen their leadership skills.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care throughout the surgical journey, from pre-operative preparation for post-operative recovery.
You will provide clinical leadership, support and mentor nursing staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote best practice and achieve positive patient outcomes.
You will bring strong communication, organisational and clinical leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate complex care, support workforce planning, contribute to staff education and development, and drive continuous improvement.
Your commitment to fostering a positive team culture, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and delivering culturally safe, inclusive care will be essential to success in this role.
The successful applicant will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate relevant experience in an acute surgical setting, along with a commitment to patient safety,



quality care and ongoing professional development.

We can offer you
Salary: $109,599 to $115,681, pro rata, plus 12% superannuation
Permanent part-time position, working 35 hours per week
