Based in Brisbane, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join the team on an initial 12-month contract during an exciting period of growth, transformation and continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a broad and impactful role that blends project accounting, financial analysis, process improvement and business partnering.
You'll have the opportunity to influence financial performance, enhance reporting capabilities and drive key finance initiatives that leave a lasting legacy across the organisation.
The Role This is a hands-on position offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
Key responsibilities include: Leading the financial management of key organisational projects and programsDeveloping and managing project budgets, forecasts and financial modelsConducting cost analysis, variance reporting and financial performance reviewsManaging cash flow forecasting and providing commercial insights to support decision-makingPartnering with operational leaders to improve financial outcomes and efficiencyDriving finance process improvement initiatives, controls and governance frameworksReviewing and enhancing systems, workflows and reporting capabilitiesSupporting system enhancements, automation and finance transformation projectsDeveloping reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI reportingPreparing financial reports and providing meaningful analysis to stakeholdersSupporting audit readiness, compliance and financial stewardship activitiesDeveloping finance documentation,
