About the Role We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team on the Sunshine Coast.This is a hands-on role supporting financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting and day-to-day accounting activities across a growing and diverse business.Working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team, you will play an important role in delivering accurate financial information, improving processes and supporting business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports General ledger maintenance and reconciliations Month-end and year-end reporting Multi-company and Group consolidations Multi-currency accounting and reporting Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Stock and inventory accounting,



reconciliations and reporting Fixed asset accounting Financial analysis and performance reporting Supporting internal and external audit requirements Maintaining financial controls and compliance Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes Providing financial support to managers across the business Assisting with ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required About You You will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience, solid technical accounting skills and a practical, hands-on approach.To be successful in this role, you will have: Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce CPA or CA qualification Minimum 5 years' post-qualification accounting experience Strong stock and inventory accounting experience Demonstrated experience with multi-company or Group consolidations Multi-currency accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP or accounting systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Experience in a commercial environment such as manufacturing, engineering, aviation, retail, wholesale or distribution will be highly regarded What We Offer Competitive salary package based on experience Exposure to a diverse and growing international business Sunshine Coast location The opportunity to work within a unique aviation and engineering setting Apply Now If you are an experienced accountant looking for a hands-on role within a growing and diverse organisation, we would love to hear from you.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
