Join a growing SA electrical contractor leading Projects in HV and InfrastructureYour recent companyJoin a well-established South Australian electrical contractor delivering projects across high voltage, power distribution, Defence, industrial and major construction environments.With a strong pipeline of work across HV and LV infrastructure, subdivisions, developments, major electrical construction and civil electrical works, continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team.Your new roleReporting to the Group General Manager, you will take ownership of electrical projects from mobilisation through construction, commissioning and commercial close-out.This is a hands-on Project Management role where you'll be accountable for programme, cost, margin, procurement, resources, HSEQ, quality and client outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Managing electrical projects from mobilisation through to completionCoordinating supervisors, electricians, subcontractors, plant and materialsManaging project budgets, forecasting, costs and marginsPlanning programmes and ensuring projects remain on scheduleManaging procurement and project resourcesIdentifying and managing variations, EOTs and contractual entitlementsEnsuring HSEQ, quality and compliance requirements are achievedManaging contractual notices and project correspondenceBuilding strong relationships with clients and key stakeholdersLeading project teams and driving accountability across deliveryWhat you'll need to succeedYou'll be an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong electrical construction or infrastructure background.




This role is ideally suited to someone who has developed through the electrical industry rather than general building or consultancy Project Management.You'll ideally bring:Significant electrical Project Management experienceElectrical trade qualifications/licence highly regardedExperience across HV/LV infrastructure, cable installation, power distribution or civil electrical worksStrong commercial and contractual knowledgeExperience managing budgets, programmes, procurement and project resourcesConfidence managing variations, EOTs and commercial negotiationsStrong client and stakeholder management skillsProven leadership of supervisors, tradespeople and subcontractorsExperience within Defence, Tier 1 construction, subdivisions, power distribution or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.A current or recent HV switching qualification or authorisation would be advantageous but is not essential.What you'll get in returnThis is an opportunity to join a growing South Australian electrical contractor where you'll have genuine ownership of your projects and the ability to influence delivery and commercial outcomes.You'll receive:Exposure to major HV, LV, Defence and infrastructure projectsGenuine project and commercial ownershipDirect involvement with senior managementStrong pipeline of projects across South AustraliaLong-term career opportunity with a growing contractorYou don't necessarily need to hold a Senior Project Manager title.
