We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Diesel Fitter to join our Maintenance Team at Jellinbah Mine .
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader to provide frontline supervision, mentorship and technical support while driving equipment reliability and maintenance performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide frontline leadership and supervision to maintenance personnel Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with site procedures Assist Supervisors in directing,



mentoring and developing tradespeople and apprentices Coordinate maintenance requirements with planning and production teams Monitor and maintain fleet critical spares Conduct equipment inspections and ensure maintenance compliance Supervise shutdowns, breakdown repairs and troubleshooting activities Facilitate shift handovers and daily pre-start meetings when required Perform Supervisor duties during periods of absence Promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture SITE FLEET Caterpillar **** Hydraulic Excavators CAT 793F Rear Dump Trucks CAT D10T and D11T Dozers CAT 16M Graders CAT 773 Water Carts ABOUT YOU You are a safety-focused maintenance professional with demonstrated leadership experience in a mining or heavy industry environment.
You possess strong technical capability, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic) Current Supervisor Competencies S1, S2 and S3 (formerly Supervisor Levels 1, 2 and 3) Demonstrated experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role within mining or heavy industry Strong working knowledge of mobile mining equipment maintenance Proven commitment to safety leadership and statutory compliance Excellent communication and people management skills Sound computer skills and experience with maintenance management systems Current Australian Driver's Licence Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug
