We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer with hands-on Ignition SCADA experience to join a growing engineering team.
You will work across projects in mining, heavy industry and utilities, covering the full lifecycle of industrial control systems from design through to commissioning.
1.2 Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain industrial control systems.
Complete conceptual design and front-end engineering design.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, test plans and technical documentation.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, RTUs, HMIs and SCADA systems.
Develop control logic and support system testing, commissioning and validation.
Work with electrical, mechanical and software engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide technical input throughout project delivery and contribute to engineering standards.
1.3 Key Requirements Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
5 years experience in control systems engineering.
At least 2 years hands-on Ignition SCADA experience.




Experience with PLC programming and fault-finding, ideally across Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.
Experience with industrial HMI/SCADA systems such as Ignition, Plant SCADA or FactoryTalk View.
Solid understanding of industrial control systems and processes.
1.4 Desirable Experience Industrial protocols including EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA or MQTT.
SCADA architecture, scripting and enterprise deployments.
Database integration, Python/JavaScript or other scripting languages.
Docker, Kubernetes or Grafana.
Client-site work, commissioning and troubleshooting.
