Camp Chef – RemoteMaddington Centurion GroupAbout the role:We are seeking a reliable Camp Chef (Utility) to join a small team servicing regional campsites.
This role is hands‐on and diverse, involving meal preparation, cleaning, general camp support, and providing day‐to‐day guidance to other general hands.
This role would be suitable for a CDP or Commis Chef.What you'll do:Prepare and cook meals in line with approved menus and dietary requirementMaintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standardsAssist with cleaning, food service, and general camp duties as requiredProvide leadership and support to general handsPerform relief duties and assist across camp servicesDrive staff and transport products between sites as requiredOversee staff and guest accommodation standardsComply with all HSE policies, procedures,



and reporting requirementsQualifications:Cert III in commercial cookery (desirable) or relevant qualificationPrevious experience in FIFO or DIDO (is required)Up to 5 years' experience in camp, bulk‐catering, or similar environments.Selection Criteria:Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.Ability to work in a fast‐paced, outdoor environment.Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious meals.Strong communication and teamwork skills.National Police Clearance (within 6 months)Unrestricted Australian Working RightsThe successful candidate must complete a pre‐employment medical.
