As a Village Support Officer, you'll play an important part in supporting the daily operations of our village through cleaning, maintenance support, and assisting with community functions.Your Role as Village Support OfficerThis is a hands-on role focused primarily on cleaning duties while also supporting the village team with general maintenance, gardening, and function set-ups.Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the village and common areasProvide support with general onsite maintenance and gardening tasksAssist with setting up and packing down activity rooms and village functionsSupport waste management and ensure work areas are maintained safely and efficientlyUse cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE safely in line with workplace proceduresReport maintenance issues,



hazards, and incidents as requiredWork collaboratively with the village support team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residentsWhat We're Looking ForExperience in cleaning, maintenance support, gardening, or similar hands-on rolesAbility to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervisionStrong customer service and communication skillsA positive attitude and willingness to assist across different tasks as neededUnderstanding of workplace health and safety practicesCurrent Driver's Licence and willingness to drive in the course of workEssential RequirementsProof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy
