Casey Smiles is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team on a part-time/ Full-time basis at our Cranbourne practice.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinical operations, enhancing patient experience, and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality treatments.What you'll be doingAssisting dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, and cosmetic dentistryPreparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and ensuring all equipment is ready for patient appointmentsProcessing dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety protocolsRecording patient information accurately and maintaining detailed clinical notes during treatmentsProviding chairside support and ensuring patient comfort throughout dental proceduresManaging patient communication, including pre and post-operative instructionsMaintaining infection control and adhering to strict health and safety standardsSupporting the reception team with scheduling, appointment reminders, and general administrative tasks as requiredOrdering and managing dental supplies and materials inventoryContributing to a positive team environment and supporting the overall success of the practiceWhat we're looking forFormal qualifications as a Dental Assistant or equivalent recognised certificationExperience working as a dental assistant in an active dental practiceStrong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures,
