This is a permanent part-time position (minimum 15 hours per week) based onsite, supporting older people to maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to their community.In this rewarding role, you'll provide person-centred support to people aged 65 years and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), helping them continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes.What You'll Be DoingAs a Community Support Worker, you'll provide a range of services tailored to each client's needs, including:Respite care and companionshipDomestic assistance and household supportPersonal care servicesSocial support and community engagementMeal preparation assistanceSupport with recreational and social activitiesEncouraging independence through a reablement and wellness approachReporting on client wellbeing and progressMaintaining accurate client records and documentationYour work will empower older people to remain active, connected and independent while receiving the support they need to continue living at home.Who We're Looking ForWe'd love to hear from you if you:Hold a minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care or equivalentHave experience providing personal care and domestic assistance, or a robust interest in supporting older peopleAvailable at least 3 days a weekHave a sound understanding of the needs of older people,



carers and people with disabilityCan work effectively both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrate strong communication and customer service skillsAre committed to a person-centred, strengths-based approach to careHave a current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and access to a fully insured vehicleHold current First Aid and CPR qualificationsAre comfortable using a smartphone and basic Microsoft Office applicationsMandatory RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must be able to obtain or hold:Current Australian Driver LicenceComprehensive motor vehicle insuranceCriminal Record CheckAged Care clearance and eligibility to work in aged careCurrent First Aid and CPR CertificatesSmartphone for work-related communication and documentationWhy Join Intereach?
