EL1 Level | Baseline Clearance | 12-Month Contract with Extensions

You'll be joining a large Federal Government environment delivering complex, high-profile ICT solutions that support essential services across Australia.
The organisation is undertaking significant technology and systems work and is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to contribute to the design and delivery of complex ICT solutions.
Your new role
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will work across business and technical teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.
You will be responsible for analysing existing systems, identifying functional gaps and dependencies, assessing solution feasibility and contributing to the design and implementation of large-scale ICT solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the analysis and definition of complex system and technical requirements
Undertaking feasibility assessments, including impact, risk and options analysis
Designing and reviewing complex system solutions
Identifying gaps, dependencies and opportunities within existing system functionality
Translating business needs into clear technical requirements and solution designs
Assessing design options, trade-offs and associated risks
Preparing and reviewing technical documentation
Providing specialist advice to business and technical stakeholders
Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary ICT teams to support successful solution delivery
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role,



you will be an experienced Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst with a strong background working across complex ICT environments.
You will demonstrate:
Strong experience in systems analysis and systems design
Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements
Strong requirements definition, management and prioritisation capability
Experience undertaking feasibility, impact and risk assessments
Ability to analyse complex systems, integrations and functional dependencies
Strong stakeholder engagement across both business and technical teams
Experience producing high-quality technical and solution documentation
The ability to provide specialist technical advice and recommendations
Previous experience within the Federal Government or another large, complex organisation will be highly regarded
Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance if required
