We are proudly certified as a Great Place to Work in Australia.MAX Build finds solutions to complex remedial challenges, delivering major remediation projects, high-rise façade maintenance and refurbishment works, and building adaptations and upgrades.With established operations in Current South Wales and a growing presence in Queensland, this role will be based in Queensland, delivering remedial projects across Class 2 residential buildings in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.The RoleMAX Build is an expanding remedial construction company searching for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and support the growth of our Queensland operations.The successful candidate will manage Class 2 remedial projects from commencement through to completion, taking responsibility for programme, budget, quality, safety and client satisfaction.
You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and manage procurement, contract administration and project reporting.Working closely with clients, strata managers, owners' corporations and residents, you will ensure works are delivered efficiently, with clear communication and careful management of the challenges associated with occupied residential buildings.This role will suit someone with strong commercial acumen, hands-on remedial construction experience and a proactive approach to managing project risks, solving problems and achieving high-quality outcomes.The Right CandidateThe right candidate will thrive on taking ownership of project delivery and will bring strong leadership,



technical construction knowledge and a solutions-focused mindset.You will have:Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industryDemonstrated experience delivering remedial works on Class 2 residential buildings, ideally in QueenslandStrong technical knowledge of remedial construction, including concrete repairs, waterproofing, façade remediation and building defect rectificationProven ability to manage projects from commencement through to handover, balancing programme, cost, quality and safety requirementsExperience managing project budgets, forecasting costs and maintaining profitabilityA solid understanding of contract administration, including variations, progress claims, extensions of time and contractual notice requirementsExperience leading site teams and managing subcontractor performance, procurement and sequencingProven ability to interpret drawings, specifications, engineering reports and contract documentationKnowledge of relevant Queensland building requirements, WHS obligations and quality assurance processesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with strata managers, owners' corporations and residents in occupied buildingsStrong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project risksWhat's in it for youAs part of the MAX Build team, you will be establishing your career in a workplace that celebrates diversity and believes in looking after its employees through individual benefits including competitive salary packages, training, mentoring, career progression opportunities and health and wellbeing initiatives.
