Maintenance Officer The role: An exciting Casual opportunity has arisen in general maintenance repairs & gardening, to join the Maintenance team at ACH Group’s Residential Care Home based at Elizabeth South. What you’ll do:Ensure the safety of staff, customers and visitors through the performance of maintenance tasksPerform various preventative and unplanned maintenance & gardening tasksEnsure work undertaken is compliant and to the relevant standardPaint preparation and paintingMaintain up to date documentationPruning, mulching, mowing of lawns and edgingBlowing and cleaning areasWeed control - spraying and manual weedingProvide outstanding customer service to all ACH Group customersParticipate on the on-call rosterand much more You will need:A current driver’s licenceExperience in building and garden maintenanceOutstanding customer service skillsComputer literacy, with the ability to use various software and databasesExcellent documentation skillsFlexibility in approach to workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA trade qualification, working with heights certificate, WHS white card is highly desiredExperience in a similar role in the aged care facility or similar is highly regardedA satisfactory police clearance for working with vulnerable people less than 12 months old at commencement of employment.
