About the Role

We are seeking for a Platform & Integration Engineer to join our team. Within this role you will provide technical capability across Platform Provisioning & DevOps and Integration Infrastructure. The role develops and maintains the common automation, deployment, environment and integration platforms used across HAMBS and works closely with the Principal Platform & Reliability Engineer and other Platform & Integration Engineers to ensure capability and knowledge are distributed across the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain HAMBS’ shared deployment and environment-management platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy and other approved technologies.
- Own and maintain shared API, messaging, eventing and managed file-transfer platforms as part of the Platform & Integration team.
- Maintain Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid and other approved integration infrastructure.
- Maintain working capability across monitoring, logging, tracing and shared telemetry platforms.
- Support creation and maintenance of meaningful dashboards and alerts.
- Implement Enterprise Architecture and Security Architecture standards and approved technical patterns.
- Provide practical technical input into architecture standards, technology strategy and roadmaps

About You





- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.
- Relevant Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, automation or integration-platform certification.(Desirable)
- 5+ years’ experience across platform, infrastructure, DevOps or related technical roles.
- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy or comparable deployment tooling.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.
- Experience with environment provisioning and configuration automation.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher or comparable container platforms is desirable.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid or comparable integration-platform technologies.
- Understanding of messaging, eventing, retry, dead-letter and integration-resilience concepts.
- Experience automating repetitive technical activities.
- Experience troubleshooting deployment, platform or integration issues.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging and observability tools.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Development, Network, Cloud, Cyber, Architecture and Operations teams
