About the Opportunity
Workfront is currently seeking 5 reliable and motivated Process Workers to join one of our valued clients at a commercial egg processing facility in Buchanan, NSW.
These are hands-on roles in a quick-paced production environment, assisting with egg grading, packing and pallet handling.
- Job Type: Casual (Labour Hire)
- Commencement Date: Monday, 2 November 2026
- Duration: Until approximately 4 December 2026
- Working Hours: 7:15 am – 3:00 pm
- Roster: Monday to Saturday, with one rostered day off during the week.
Position Overview
There are two types of roles available:
- 4 x Egg Packing Workers
Working on the grading floor, packing eggs and keeping up with production requirements.
- 1 x Loader/Carousel Operator
Loading, wrapping and stacking pallets. This role involves heavier manual handling and may suit someone physically strong.
Key Responsibilities
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Grading, packing and preparing eggs for distribution
- Assisting with egg processing and production activities.
- Conducting quality checks.
- Loading, wrapping and stacking pallets (Loader/Carousel Operator role).
- Operating grading and packing equipment as required.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work area.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and company requirements.
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for people who are:
- Experienced in food processing, production,
packing or similar fast-paced roles (highly regarded).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
- Attentive to detail and committed to workplace safety.
- Available to work the required roster, including Saturdays.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
- Reliable transport to travel to and from the workplace.
- Own safety boots and high-visibility work shirt.
- Ability to comply with all workplace policies, safety procedures and biosecurity requirements.
Important Biosecurity Requirements
To protect the health of our livestock, strict biosecurity measures apply.
Applicants must not:
- Have regular contact with birds or pigs outside of work (including pets kept at your residence).
- Live with someone employed in another poultry or pig operation.
Successful applicants must comply with all on-site biosecurity procedures, including showering before each shift if required by the farm.
