APS6 Change Analyst

Location: Sydney/Canberra/Brisbane/Remote
Duration: 12 months with potential for 2 x 6-month extensions
Hourly Rate: $70- $73 per hour
Clearance: Baseline

About the Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Change Analyst to support the delivery of large-scale transformation programs within a complex and fast-paced environment.
Reporting into a multidisciplinary program delivery team, you will play a key role in supporting organisational change initiatives across multiple projects and programs. Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders and external partners, you will help assess change impacts, coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, monitor readiness and adoption outcomes, and contribute to successful implementation planning.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct change impact assessments to identify implementation impacts, risks, dependencies, barriers and stakeholder adoption requirements.
- Undertake stakeholder analysis and readiness assessments to support successful implementation and organisational transition activities.
- Monitor, track and report on change management activities, stakeholder engagement outcomes, readiness measures and adoption indicators.
- Analyse data, stakeholder feedback and implementation insights to support decision-making, implementation planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development and delivery of change management plans, communications, engagement activities and adoption strategies.




- Identify and escalate change-related risks, issues and barriers, contributing to mitigation planning and implementation support activities.
- Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders and external partners to support transition planning and successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefing materials, stakeholder updates and project documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned activities across programs and projects.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Experience supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of change management activities within project, program or digital transformation environments.
- Robust understanding of change management principles, stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness and adoption activities.
- Experience undertaking change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis and readiness assessments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, stakeholder feedback and implementation outcomes to support informed decision making.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse groups.




- Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and support delivery against project milestones.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, presentations, briefing papers and stakeholder communications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, issues and implementation challenges and contribute to practical solutions.

Desirable Experience:

- Qualifications or certifications in Change Management, Project Management, Program Management or Agile methodologies.
- Certifications such as Prosci, PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, Scrum or SAFe.
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation, technology implementation or organisational change initiatives.
- Experience using reporting tools, survey data, performance measures or adoption metrics to monitor implementation success and business outcomes.
- Exposure to highly regulated, government, healthcare or complex enterprise environments.
