This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant seeking a long-term position within a thriving practice where their skills and contributions will be valued.

About the Role Our client is seeking a confident and capable Dental Assistant with a minimum of two years' experience to join its busy clinical team.

You will work alongside experienced Dentists, providing chairside assistance across a variety of general and cosmetic procedures, including veneers, restorative treatments and routine dental care.

As part of a busy seven-chair practice, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient clinical workflows, supporting excellent patient care and ensuring treatment rooms are prepared to the highest standards.

The position also involves assisting with reception duties when required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide chairside assistance during general, restorative and cosmetic dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms,



instruments and equipment for daily appointments
- Maintain high standards of infection control, sterilisation and clinical hygiene
- Assist with patient preparation, comfort and post-treatment care
- Support efficient appointment flow within a busy multi-chair environment
- Help with reception tasks, including appointment bookings, patient enquiries and general administration
- Work closely with Dentists and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Contribute to a friendly, organised and professional practice workplace

About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally demonstrate:

- Minimum two years' experience working as a Dental Assistant in Australia
- Sound chairside assisting skills in general dentistry, with cosmetic dentistry experience highly regarded
- Confidence assisting with reception and administrative duties when needed
- Solid knowledge of infection prevention, sterilisation and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional manner
- Ability to work efficiently, multitask and remain organised in a fast-paced practice
- A reliable, proactive and team-oriented attitude
- Full Australian working rights




- Own reliable transport, as public transport options in the area are limited
- Availability to work 1–2 Saturdays per month

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:45 am – 5:15 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm (1–2 Saturdays per month)
- Employment Type: Full-time preferred; part-time considered
