The Role

Within the Brisbane office, the construction engineering team delivers temporary works and construction support for contractors across transport infrastructure, defence and property. Their work spans tunnels, rail, bridges and high-rise buildings, with a busy pipeline ahead.

They're looking for a Construction Services Engineer who can design and document temporary works and give practical construction engineering advice, working closely with contractors and site teams.

The Responsibilities

- Design and document temporary works, including propping and back-propping, formwork and falsework, lifting frames and tower crane supports.
- Provide construction staging and sequencing advice,



lift studies and capacity assessments of structures under construction loads.
- Work closely with contractors and site teams to develop safe, buildable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers across the national team on projects of all sizes.

The Requirements

This role suits a practical engineer who enjoys working out how things actually get built. In return, you'll be able to demonstrate:

- 4+ years' experience in temporary works or construction engineering design
- Experience within an Australian engineering design consultancy
- Experience using SpaceGass, Strand7, RAM Concept or similar structural analysis software
- Site-based or contractor-side experience highly regarded but not essential
- Full working rights in Australia
