We offer structured onboarding, ongoing support and long-term career growth opportunities.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant – White Collar to support an established Australian recruitment agency with candidate sourcing, screening, shortlisting and talent pipeline development.
You'll initially work alongside a Melbourne-based recruitment team, supporting recruitment across Business Support, Human Resources and Finance. You'll help identify quality candidates, build active talent pools and coordinate interviews, allowing onshore consultants to focus on client relationships and business development.
This is a recruitment delivery role, not a virtual assistant position. For someone who performs well, there may also be opportunities to take on lead generation and business development responsibilities as the partnership grows.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Candidate Management
- Source and screen candidates for white-collar vacancies.
- Conduct candidate pre-screens and assess suitability against role requirements.
- Shortlist qualified candidates and prepare candidate profiles.
- Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity in the ATS/CRM.
- Support live vacancies across permanent and temporary recruitment.
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Source candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms.
- Use Boolean search, headhunting and targeted outreach to identify suitable talent.
- Build and maintain active talent pools for current and future vacancies.
- Develop candidate pipelines across Business Support, HR and Finance.
- Engage passive candidates and maintain strong candidate relationships.
- Support job postings and recruitment campaigns.
Recruitment Administration & Delivery
- Manage candidate applications and maintain timely status updates.
- Ensure candidate information and recruitment records are accurate.
- Support interview scheduling, reference checks and candidate follow-ups.
- Help improve sourcing efficiency and recruitment delivery.
- Manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities effectively.
Future Business Development
- Support lead generation and market research as the role develops.
- Identify prospective clients and relevant hiring opportunities.
- Assist with targeted outreach and business development campaigns.
- Contribute to revenue generation through agreed targets and incentive arrangements, where introduced.

- Strong candidate sourcing, screening and shortlisting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Experience managing candidate pipelines and multiple vacancies.
- Confidence engaging candidates by phone and coordinating interviews.
- Experience using recruitment platforms and ATS/CRM systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently during Australian business hours.
- Proactive approach to candidate engagement and recruitment delivery.
Highly Preferred
- Familiarity with SEEK and Bullhorn.
- Experience in permanent and temporary recruitment.
- Strong Boolean search, headhunting and talent pooling skills.
- Interest or experience in lead generation and business development.
You'll Thrive in This Role If You Are
- Proactive — you actively source and engage candidates.
- Communicative — you are confident speaking with candidates and coordinating interviews.
- Organised — you manage vacancies, follow-ups and candidate records effectively.
- Commercially Aware — you understand how quality recruitment delivery supports business growth.
