About the Role
An exciting chance is available for a motivated Estimator / Customer Service & Sales Support professional to join an established supplier of aluminium windows and doors.
This role combines customer service, estimating and sales support, making it ideal for someone with experience in the building and construction industry who enjoys working with customers and has a strong technical understanding.
You will play an important role in preparing accurate quotations, interpreting plans and specifications, managing customer enquiries and following up sales opportunities. Working closely with the sales and operations teams, you will help ensure a smooth process from initial enquiry through to quotation and order placement.

- Prepare accurate and timely quotations, tenders, orders and variations for residential and commercial aluminium windows and doors.
- Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications to complete quantity take-offs and pricing.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements, technical specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
- Manage customer enquiries via phone, email and in person, providing helpful and timely responses.
- Follow up quotations, tenders and sales opportunities to help convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales opportunities and updates within relevant systems.
- Assist with product enquiries, order clarification and general customer support across the fabrication and custom windows teams.
- Work collaboratively with sales representatives and internal operations teams to ensure efficient branch operations.
- Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the quoting and ordering process.

Key Skills & Experience

- Previous estimating experience within the building,



construction or building products industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, variations and quantity take-offs.
- Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards for windows and doors will be highly regarded.
- Experience using V6 estimating software is advantageous, although not essential.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar sales and workflow management systems is beneficial.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and follow up opportunities.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach, sound technical aptitude and a genuine interest in developing your product knowledge.
