We are representing a well-established, high-quality early learning service located next to the beautiful grounds of one of Sydney’s most prestigious schools, seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Babies Room Leader to join their close-knit team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT who is passionate about infant learning and development and ready to take ownership of a babies’ room program within a service that genuinely values relationships, quality education and educator wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the planning, implementation and documentation of a high-quality, play-based educational program.




- Creating a nurturing, calm and stimulating environment that responds to each child's individual needs, interests and developmental milestones.
- Building secure, trusting relationships with babies and their families.
- Leading, mentoring and supporting educators to deliver consistent, high-quality practice.
- Developing meaningful learning experiences through observation, reflection and intentional teaching.
- Building strong partnerships with families through genuine communication at drop-off, pick-up and throughout their child’s learning journey.
- Maintaining high standards of care, safety, compliance and educational practice.
- Collaborating with the Educational Leader and wider team to drive continuous improvement.

To be successful, you will bring:

- A recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
- Experience working with babies and a strong understanding of infant development, attachment and responsive caregiving.
- Confidence leading a room and taking ownership of the educational program.
- Strong programming, documentation and written communication skills.
- The ability to guide, support and inspire educators while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- A genuine commitment to building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- A calm, professional and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and continually improve.
