Our client is seeking experienced and dealer-trained Fitters / Diesel Mechanics for full-time positions in Brisbane North and East including Moreton Bay area, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fit, assemble, install, maintain and repair machinery, components and equipment.
- Diagnose, service and repair diesel engines, fuel, cooling, transmission, steering and braking systems.
- Inspect and overhaul pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings and mechanical drives.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including hoses, valves, cylinders and seals.
- Perform fault-finding, scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs and equipment modifications.
- Read technical drawings, schematics, manuals and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

- A relevant vocational or tertiary qualification in a related field.




- At least one year of relevant fitting, diesel-mechanical or heavy-equipment experience.
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and service manuals.
- Good communication skills and a strong safety focus.

Highly regarded:

- Welding or fabrication experience.
- OEM or manufacturer training
- Experience with both mobile plant and fixed equipment.
