About the role
Keen for steady work with a valuable team? ALH Recruitment is hiring LF Forklift Operators and Pick Packers for a busy distribution centre in North Brisbane. We’ve got AM and PM shifts available, Monday to Friday, with immediate starts for people who are reliable and ready to work.
What’s on offer
- $36-$38 per hour plus afternoon shift penalties and super
- AM shift 6:00am-2:30pm or PM shift 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Paid weekly through ALH
- Ongoing work with overtime in peak periods

- Full site induction and training on the client’s systems
- A local Kiwi-run team who keep in touch and look after you while you’re on assignment
What you’ll be doing
- Picking and packing orders accurately with an RF scanner
- Operating counterbalance and reach forklifts for put-away, replenishment and loading
- Unloading containers and checking inbound stock
- Loading outbound trucks and wrapping pallets
- Stock counts and keeping work areas clean and safe
- Following site safety and quality procedures
What you’ll need
- At least 6 months warehouse or distribution centre experience
- Current LF forklift licence (essential for forklift roles)
- RF scanner experience highly regarded
- Able to lift up to 25 kg and stay on your feet for a full shift
- Reliable transport for early and late shift times
- Your own steel-cap boots
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Valid Australian work rights (current visa)
