Design Engineer | Mechanical & Structural Brisbane City, Brisbane QLD Mechanical Engineering (Engineering) Full Time $130,000 - $150,000 + Super

This is your opportunity to join one of Brisbane's most technically capable engineering consultancies. A specialist mechanical and structural firm that consistently punches above its weight, delivering bespoke design solutions for some of Australia's most significant infrastructure programs, defence applications and major construction projects.

This is a role for someone who wants to do real engineering. You'll have full ownership of your projects from first principles through to detailed design, certification and client delivery across; Major construction, defence, utilities, marine and manufacturing.

Problem-solve and design custom solutions across a genuinely diverse range of mechanical and structural projects - fabricated structures, access systems, temporary works for some of Australia's largest construction programs. Own your projects end-to-end, work directly with clients across a diverse project portfolio, and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your work through from concept to completion.

To be considered, you must possess:

- 5+ years of mechanical and/or structural design experience within a consultancy environment, or similar
- Mechanical, structural or civil engineering degree




- Proficiency in SolidWorks - 3D modelling and 2D drafting
- FEA capability - Strand7, SolidWorks Simulation and/or Ansys
- Sound working knowledge of Australian engineering design standards across structural steel, concrete and loading: AS1170, AS4100, AS4991, AS1657, AS3600
- AutoCAD or comparable CAD/CAM experience highly regarded
- Practical, detail-oriented outlook - client and solution focused
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD/CAM software is essential
RPEQ status or registration in progress will be highly regarded
