SunPork Group, one of Australia's leading pork producers, is looking for 4 enthusiastic Casual Piggery Attendants to join our farming operations in regional NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in brand-new, modern piggery facilities featuring state-of-the-art equipment, while gaining valuable experience in the Australian agricultural industry.
About the Role
As a Piggery Attendant, you'll play an important role in the daily care and welfare of our pigs, helping ensure our farming operations run safely and efficiently.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Feeding, monitoring and caring for pigs.
- Supporting animal health, welfare and daily farm routines.
- Cleaning and maintaining piggery sheds, equipment and facilities.
- Assisting with the safe movement and handling of livestock.
- Working closely with your team to maintain high standards of hygiene, biosecurity and workplace safety.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn – no previous piggery experience required!
- Comfortable working with pigs in a hands-on farming environment.
- Physically fit and happy to undertake manual duties.
- Reliable, hardworking and a great team player.
- Willingness to work rostered shifts, including weekends when required.
- Ability to follow workplace health, safety and biosecurity procedures.
