Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician – Campbellfield

Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter / Technician for a manufacturing facility in Campbellfield, responsible for maintaining plant machinery, fault finding, preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.

About the role:

- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm

- Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per annum plus superannuation

- Full-time hours based in Campbellfield

- Hands-on maintenance role within a manufacturing environment

What you will be required to do:
- Perform preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs and breakdown troubleshooting on plant machinery.

- Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.

- Undertake fitting, turning, welding and general mechanical maintenance duties.

- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and service records.

- Coordinate external contractors and assist with equipment installations and improvements.

- Conduct machinery inspections and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold a relevant Fitter & Turner trade qualification.

- Have proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Demonstrate robust mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.





- Have experience with preventative maintenance programs and machinery breakdowns.

- Welding, boiler maintenance and dangerous goods industry experience will be highly regarded.

- Be self-motivated, reliable and confident working independently or within a team.

- Have full Australian working rights and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
