We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to come on board for our client’s peak season!

Source SBG is a successful Australian-owned, QLD-based family business with existing brands and products in the stationery, apparel and textile sectors. Christmas, summer holidays and back-to-school time are the peak season for Source SBG’s stationery and back-to-school brand, Spencil (www.spencil.com.au), which means the warehouse is preparing for its busiest time of year!

THE OPPORTUNITY:

- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including pick and pack for online orders, trade orders and retail store orders.
- Support and guide the warehouse team to help ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and sent out on time.
- Assist with stock control, inventory counts, container unloads and packing.
- Work alongside the Warehouse Manager to support workflow, priorities and team requirements.
- Follow instructions and report to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor as required.
- Undertake other general warehouse duties as required.
- Quickly become familiar with the products and brand, warehouse systems and procedures, and contribute to a positive team culture by working well alongside co-workers.

ALL ABOUT YOU:
Be an integral part of the team during this busy period. Your role is all about helping the team deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring products are packed accurately and well for distribution to retail outlets and customers on time, with little room for error!

- Previous team leader or supervisory experience, ideally in a warehouse workplace,



will be highly regarded.
- Great attention to detail!
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give clear instructions and build rapport quickly with team members.
- Able to lead by example and support a team to work together effectively.
- Have a can-do attitude and a willingness to do what is required to get the job done.
- Be proactive and self-motivated – we’re looking for someone who can muck in and help out, and who is happy to get involved in all activities around the warehouse during busy periods, especially when key deadlines are approaching.
- Hold a current forklift ticket, MR/HR truck licence and relevant experience (desirable, but not essential).

FURTHER INFORMATION:

- This is a casual role based on site at Source SBG’s warehouse at Wulkuraka, QLD.
- We are looking for full availability from the start date (ideally).
- You will be rostered on for full shifts from Monday to Friday.
- Shift rosters are generally daytime shifts from 8am to 4pm.
- Salary will be paid by hourly rate as per the Storage Services and Wholesale Award.
- Culture and team fit will be an important determinant in recruiting for this role.




- There is a train station approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the warehouse, or you will require your own transport to get to and from work.
- Driver’s licence or MR truck licence desirable (but not essential).
- Must have full working rights in Australia to be considered.
