At SEDA College WA, we do education differently. As an independent Year 11 and 12 College, we combine learning with real-world opportunities that help young people build confidence, discover their strengths, and prepare for life beyond school.
We’re seeking a passionate and proactive Student Connect Coordinator to join our Student Connect Team. This is an chance to make a genuine difference, walking alongside our young people as they navigate challenges, celebrate achievements and build confidence in themselves and their future.
What you’ll do
- Be a consistent source of support, encouragement and guidance for students throughout their journey at SEDA.
- Build meaningful connections with students and families, helping them feel welcomed, supported and engaged.
- Walk alongside young people as they overcome challenges, develop confidence and build skills for life beyond school.
- Help students access the support, services and opportunities they need to succeed.
- Deliver wellbeing initiatives that foster connection, resilience and personal growth.
- Collaborate with staff,
families and community partners to support positive student outcomes.
- Promote student wellbeing and contribute to a culture of child safety.
About you
You are compassionate, approachable and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, Counselling or a related field
- Experience supporting young people in an education, wellbeing or community setting
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and driver’s licence
