Are you a practical, reliable person who enjoys fixing things and keeping a property in top condition? Kakadu Crocodile Hotel is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Handyperson to join our team in the heart of Kakadu National Park.

About the Role

You will help maintain the hotel's rooms, facilities, grounds and equipment, ensuring a protected, comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out general repairs and maintenance around the hotel.

- Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and patching jobs.

- Assist with the upkeep of guest rooms, public areas and staff facilities.

- Maintain outdoor areas, pathways and hotel grounds.

- Identify maintenance issues and report any major repairs required.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel management and other departments.

About You

- Practical, hands-on and able to work independently.

- Reliable,



organised and willing to take initiative.

- Comfortable using basic tools and maintenance equipment.

- Able to prioritise tasks and solve problems.

- A positive attitude and a team-focused approach.

- Previous maintenance or handyman experience is an advantage.

- Relevant trade qualifications, licences or tickets are desirable where applicable.

- Eligible to work in Australia with no restrictions.
