Sports & Performance Podiatrist | High-Performance 'Coach' Role
Are you tired of routine nail care and looking to bridge the gap between Podiatry and Strength & Conditioning?
At PEAK Sports and Spine Centre, we don’t just "fix feet." We build athletes. We treat the mindset, not just the pathology. We are looking for a clinician who wants to move beyond the treatment room and into the high-performance space.
Why PEAK is Different
We operate on a "Pain to Performance" model. You aren’t just a Podiatrist; you are a Performance Coach. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary powerhouse alongside Physios, Chiros, and Massage Therapists to deliver an Experience Not Felt Possible.
- The Tech: Force Plates, VALD Dynamometers and the Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill.
- The Vibe: A tribe culture that actually sticks. We don’t just do Friday drinks; we do annual mountain biking expeditions in Nepal.
- The Growth: Whether you want to lead a department, specialise in running biomechanics, or grow a niche service, we provide the roadmap and the funding (including Endorsement support).
The Role & Caseload
Forget the "standard" podiatry grind. Your day-to-day focuses on:
- Advanced Biomechanics: Running analysis and gait retraining.
- Complex MSK: Managing lower limb tendinopathies and sports injuries.
- Elite Tools: Utilizing Foot Mobilisation, Dry Needling, and custom orthotic prescription using state-of-the-art data.
- Community Impact: Leading our Stride Club running group and inspiring our "athletes" to reach their peak.
What’s In It For You?
- Elite Compensation: Base salary up to $130,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 to welcome you to the tribe.
- Professional Development: Generous allowance + specific support for Endorsement for Scheduled Medicines.
- Incentives: A transparent tiered pricing model and KPI bonuses that reward your clinical excellence.
- Flexibility: A focus on sustainable high performance (we know you have a life outside work).
Are You Our Next Coach?
We hire for Vision and Will first—skills can be coached, but passion can’t. You’re a outstanding fit if:
- You have 6-12 months of private practice experience (or you’re a high-achieving New Grad with a sports background).
- You are a "Systems Thinker" who loves solving the "why" behind an injury.
- You’re comfortable having courageous conversations to help patients achieve their goals.
- You want to be part of Brisbane’s fastest-growing Allied Health team.
Ready to Summit?
If you have the mindset of an athlete and the skills of a clinician, we want to meet you.
