About the Role

As a Registered Midwife, you will provide safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care across a variety of maternity settings, supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
• Supporting women throughout labour and birth
• Monitoring maternal and neonatal wellbeing
• Performing clinical assessments and observations
• Delivering education and support to women and families
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams




• Promoting positive clinical outcomes and patient experiences

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum 12 months postgraduate Midwifery experience
• Recent Birth Suite, Delivery Suite, Antenatal and/or Postnatal experience
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to delivering secure, high-quality maternity care

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife
• Minimum 12 months recent Australian Midwifery experience
• Current National Police Check (within 12 months)
• Current WA Working With Children Check
• Up-to-date vaccinations and serology including Influenza
• Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
• Availability across day, afternoon and night shifts
