Synergie Australia is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join one of our clients, an established building supplies business based in Darwin.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, hands-on environment, providing excellent customer service and supporting day-to-day business operations.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with enquiries, processing orders and ensuring customers receive the right products and information.

Working closely with the warehouse and sales teams, you will play an key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face.
- Process customer orders, quotes and sales transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing and availability.
- Coordinate orders, deliveries and collections with the warehouse team.
- Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Assist with general administration and day-to-day branch operations.
- Resolve customer enquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.

About You

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience in customer service, sales support or administration.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.




- Good computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in building supplies, hardware or construction materials would be highly regarded but is not essential.
