YARD PERSON / VEHICLE OPERATIONS CONTRACTOR - IMMEDIATE START Company: BIGG BOXX - One Way Truck and Van Hire Location: Archerfield / Rocklea, Brisbane Work Type: Part-Time / On-Call Contractor Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week We are looking for a reliable, responsible and self-motivated person to look after our growing truck and van rental fleet. This is flexible, on-call work with a minimum of 4 paid hours per working day. You must be available 5 days per week. Around 90% of jobs are scheduled one day in advance. Ideal for Uber, DiDi and other rideshare drivers or anyone looking for versatile part-time work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Vehicle inspections before handovers and after returns. * Deliver vehicles to customers and collect vehicles from their addresses. * Move trucks and vans between locations. * Clean and prepare vehicles for the next hire. * Photograph and report vehicle damage. * Report mechanical and maintenance issues. * Complete inspections using our web-based system. * Manage vehicle handovers according to customer pickup and return times.
* Take responsibility for looking after our fleet. REQUIREMENTS * Full, valid Australian driver’s licence. * Full-time working rights in Australia. * Good spoken and written English. * Must live within 20 minutes of Archerfield. * Must be available 5 days per week. * Confident driving large vans and moving trucks. * Comfortable using smartphones and web applications. * Must follow instructions properly and work independently. * Reliable, punctual and organised. * Mechanical knowledge is a bonus.
