Salary Range - $109,753 - $114,399 plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

Due to an internal promotion, the City of Mitcham is seeking an experienced and people-focused Team Leader Reserves and Sportsground Maintenance to lead, inspire and support our open space field teams.

About the Role
This is an exciting chance to coordinate the delivery of planned, seasonal,



cyclic and reactive maintenance across Council’s reserves and sportsgrounds.
Working closely with Operations Planners, other Team Leaders and internal partners, you will translate priorities into practical work plans, allocate people and equipment effectively, and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and to Council standards.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
• A Certificate III in Horticulture, or similar qualification, and relevant skills and experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and leading individuals and teams.
• Practical experience in horticulture, including the safe use and care of equipment, machinery and tools.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with experience scoping and reviewing projects or service outcomes.
• Advanced communication skills and the ability to build credibility, influence others and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
