About the role

As a Broker at UpTrade, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing expert advice and support to help them navigate the complexities of the cryptocurrency market. You will be responsible for facilitating trades, managing client portfolios, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Broker will have a strong understanding of the crypto market, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for helping clients succeed. Brokers are responsible for originating and managing their own client base.

Key responsibilities

- Originate and optimise a client list through sales activity
- Actively work to develop new client relationships to increase the Company's client base and trading volume, utilizing existing networks and generating new leads
- Cross-sell the Company's suite of products and services to existing clients where appropriate
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their trading objectives and risk tolerance
- Provide personalized advice and recommendations based on market analysis and client needs
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve any issues related to trading activities
- Facilitate buy and sell orders on behalf of clients in a timely and effective manner
- Keep clients informed of market trends, news, and relevant developments affecting their portfolios
- Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios,



offering support to ensure they remain consistent with the client's stated objectives and risk preferences
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the cryptocurrency market, including price movements, regulatory changes, and emerging trends

About you

- Proven experience in brokerage, sales trading, or a similar front-office role within financial markets
- A deep and practical understanding of cryptocurrency markets, products, and trading mechanics
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., RG 146, etc) and AML/CTF training are a plus
