As our business continues to evolve, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QEHS leader to bring our Quality and Safety teams together and shape the future of our integrated Quality, Environment, Health & Safety function.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead Trumps' integrated QEHS function, providing strategic direction and accountability across quality, food safety, workplace health and safety and environmental management.

An important initial focus will be bringing our existing Quality and Safety teams together, establishing shared systems, priorities and ways of working. From there, you will lead the ongoing development of the function, embedding a proactive culture of accountability, risk management and continuous improvement across our multiple sites.

Working closely with Operations and other business leaders, you will balance technical and regulatory requirements with practical operational needs, building strong relationships and influencing positive change throughout the business.

There is also potential for the role to expand to include oversight of Product Development.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Leading and developing the QEHS team, integrating capabilities and establishing consistent ways of working.

- Owning and continually improving our quality, food safety, WHS and environmental management systems.

- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and customer requirements, including SQF, HACCP, FSANZ and Queensland WHS legislation.

- Overseeing audits, certification, product quality, food safety,



incident management, investigations and corrective actions.

- Partnering with Operations and business leaders to improve processes, manage risk and embed quality and safety into everyday operations.

- Building a proactive, collaborative culture where people take ownership, raise issues early and focus on lasting solutions.

About You

You are a practical, cooperative leader with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to influence at all levels. You enjoy leading change, developing people and improving systems, and understand that effective quality and safety management is about more than compliance.

You will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, WHS or a related discipline.

- At least five years' leadership experience in Quality and/or Safety, ideally within food manufacturing.

- Strong working knowledge of SQF, HACCP, FSANZ and Queensland WHS legislation.

- Experience leading change and improving or integrating teams, systems or functions.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage everyone from the production floor to the Senior Leadership Team.

- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach that balances compliance with operational realities.

Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded: Lead Auditor qualifications, Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS, integrated ISO management systems (9001, 14001 and 45001), Product Development or NPD, and Pronto ERP.
