We're looking for a experienced and hands-on Cellar Hand to join our team based in Nuriootpa, Barossa.
If you have experience in cellar operations, wine or beverage handling, and enjoy working in a rapid-paced production workplace, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work while developing your knowledge across all aspects of beverage manufacturing.
What you'll be doing:
- Blending wine and beverages in preparation for bottling.
- Receiving and unloading bulk wine and carrying out bulk wine transfers.
- Performing wine filtration, including crossflow and pad filtration.
- Maintaining cellar hygiene, cleanliness and equipment.
- Monitoring bulk wine and beverage quality.
- Completing production documentation and data entry in line with HACCP and BRC requirements.
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering.
- Forklift driving - moving stock.
What we're looking for:
- 2years + experience in cellar operations,
wine production or beverage handling at Grade 5 level or equivalent would be preferable.
- Forklift License is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the initiative to learn new skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and meet production deadlines.
- Experience with wine filtration, blending, bulk transfers or beverage quality procedures will be an advantage.
