Bountiful Care is a Nursing and Disability Support Service that specialises in delivering complex care to participants through the NDIS. We are a boutique service that is run by a Registered Nurse and strives to deliver a high level of person-to-person centred care. We are looking for a Casual Registered Nurse to join our team for four weeks over the Christmas / New Year period.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the Bountiful Care management team to provide Community Nursing to our participants
- Wound care and management
- IDC/SPC care and management
- Tracheostomy care and management
- Medication management and oversight
- Other nursing duties as required
- Ensure all clinical notes contain precise, complete, and accurate information
- Contribute to staff training and clinical guidance
- Maintain strong accountability across NDIS and professional nursing standards
- Escalate and report significant clinical concerns to clinical nurse or clinical nurse consultant
About you
- Experience in Community Nursing, providing wound management, SPC and manual handling
- Availability through the Christmas and Current Year period including weekends and public holidays
- High level of English proficiency, including speaking, listening, comprehension and writing
- Empathy and a caring nature
- Ability to follow strict procedures and protocols
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
- Disability Worker Screening Card required
