ABOUT THE ROLE

Looking to earn some extra income during the cruise season? As a Supplementary Stevedore at both Sydney Cruise Terminal and White Bay Terminal, you'll be part of a team that helps safely and efficiently service passenger vessels during seasonal demand. This role is perfect for anyone looking to pick up extra work and boost their income.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

- Current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
- Knowledge and experience of Manual handling techniques
- Previous experience on a Forklift (Minimum 12 months)
- Ability to drive in confined spaces
- Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team and work autonomously
- Proven relatability - we need team players who can 100% commit to the role (this will also need to be backed up by a reputable reference)
- Place safety as a top priority
- Pass a pre-employment medical
- Pass a pre-employment (and during employment) Drug & Alcohol Test

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Safely operating a Forklift (1.8 Tonne and 2.5 tonne Counter Balance) to support Receivals and Deliveries (R&D;) activities and vessel operations on the wharf
- Operate plant and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOP's) or as directed by management




- Follow all company policies including, but not limited to, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S;) policies and procedures
