Peritia Care Services

Melbourne

Are you a highly experienced business development professional with an established network across the disability sector and a proven track record of generating new business?

Peritia Care Services is seeking an ambitious, commercially driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth, expand our referral network and strengthen our position within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector.

As a fully registered NDIS service provider, we are looking for someone who brings more than general sales experience. We want a professional with extensive experience in the disability industry, an in-depth understanding of the NDIS framework and regulations, and established relationships that can translate into tangible business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be confident, well-connected and capable of making an immediate contribution to our organisation's growth.

About the Role

This is a key growth-focused position for an experienced business development professional who understands the NDIS market and knows how to develop relationships that generate sustainable business.

Working closely with management, you will take ownership of identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, strengthening referral pathways and converting prospective business into measurable results.

You will have the opportunity to shape and implement business development strategies, expand our market presence and contribute directly to the continued growth of Peritia Care Services.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate an established industry network, a history of successful business development and the ability to produce results without an extended lead-in period.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth, increase referrals and expand the organisation's market presence.

- Leverage an established network of NDIS and disability sector contacts to generate qualified leads and new business opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with support coordinators, plan managers, allied health professionals, hospitals, community organisations, referral partners and other relevant stakeholders.

- Identify and pursue new referral channels, strategic partnerships and opportunities to expand our service reach.

- Convert business opportunities into sustainable participant referrals and service engagements, consistent with participant choice and applicable NDIS requirements.

- Maintain a strong business development pipeline, manage leads effectively and follow up opportunities to maximise conversion.

- Represent Peritia Care Services at industry events, professional networking forums, stakeholder meetings and community engagement activities.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and changes within the NDIS sector to identify opportunities for growth.

- Work collaboratively with management and service delivery teams to ensure growth initiatives align with operational capacity and quality service delivery.

- Establish clear business development targets and provide regular reporting on leads, referrals, conversion rates, partnerships and overall performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Extensive business development experience within the NDIS or disability services industry, with a demonstrable record of generating new business.

- An established network of industry contacts and referral relationships that can be leveraged to create genuine business opportunities.

- Strong knowledge of the NDIS framework, participant funding arrangements, disability service delivery models and relevant regulatory requirements.

- A proven ability to identify opportunities, build strategic relationships and convert leads into measurable business outcomes.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, networking and stakeholder engagement skills.

- A commercially focused mindset, with the ability to develop growth strategies and consistently work towards agreed performance targets.

- The initiative and confidence to work autonomously, manage a sales pipeline and take ownership of business development outcomes.

- A proactive, entrepreneurial and results-driven approach, with the ability to make an immediate impact.

- A professional approach that reflects the values of participant choice, dignity, respect and quality service delivery.

Previous success in business development for an NDIS provider, particularly in generating participant referrals and establishing sustainable referral partnerships, will be highly regarded.

What We Offer

- Employment Security with Peritia Care Services.

- A competitive base salary, negotiable based on experience and demonstrated capability.

- Performance-based incentives that reward the achievement of agreed business development objectives.

- The opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the organisation's growth strategy.

- A direct working relationship with management and the prospect to make a measurable contribution to the organisation's success.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a clear understanding of our service offerings, identify immediate growth opportunities and establish a structured approach to business development.

Performance will be assessed against agreed objectives, which may include:

- Generating qualified referrals and current business opportunities.

- Establishing productive relationships with key industry stakeholders.

- Developing new and strengthening existing referral partnerships.

- Improving lead-to-referral and referral-to-service conversion rates.

- Contributing to sustainable participant growth and increased service utilisation.

- Maintaining an active business development pipeline and providing transparent performance reporting.

We value professionals who can demonstrate what they have achieved, explain how they achieved it and articulate how they can apply that experience to deliver results for Peritia Care Services.

Remuneration

A competitive base salary will be negotiated based on the successful candidate's experience, industry knowledge and demonstrated business development achievements.

Performance-based incentives will also be available against agreed objectives and measurable outcomes.

How to Apply

If you are an experienced NDIS business development professional with a strong industry network, a commercial mindset and a genuine ability to drive growth, we would love to hear from you

Please submit your résumé and a cover letter outlining your qualities and attributes.
