Your New Company/Role: As one of the established multinational organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team based in Macquarie Park NSW 2113. This is a temporary position 6-10 weeks assignment.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities
Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, your main responsibilities will be: Prepare payments in time according to the payment schedule. Verification of invoices in SAP. Update and maintain vendor databases in a timely manner.
Ensuring all weekly/monthly report deadlines are met on a timely basis. Preparation and monthly review of allocated balance sheet reconciliations, including ongoing reviews of standard costing entries and analysis. Manage the budget and cost control systems and assist departments with budget management.
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly/quarterly management pack and departmental cost center reporting. Assist in the preparation of the annual finance budget and business plans.
Other Ad Hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Ideal Profile
To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function: Diploma / Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent work experience 2 years or more related to accounting duties in similar role Experience in any large Accounting ERP system.
- SAP would be highly advantageous
Skills and Requirements
Intermediate Excel knowledge Great verbal and written skills Able to start ASAP.
