About the Company

We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused Concrete Batcher to join our team and play a key role in operating our new factory.

About the Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for operating the concrete batching system and coordinating the day-to-day running of our new precast factory. You will help ensure concrete is batched accurately, equipment operates efficiently and production meets safety, quality and volume targets.

This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of attention to detail, strong organisation and the ability to monitor and adjust production processes within approved procedures.

Operating the concrete batching plant and associated factory equipment to meet daily production requirements.

Accurately batching raw materials in accordance with approved mix designs and production specifications.

Monitoring material quantities, moisture levels, mix consistency and batching times to maintain concrete quality.

Coordinating concrete supply with the production team to keep the factory running efficiently.

Completing pre-start checks, monitoring equipment performance and working with maintenance to resolve faults.

Maintaining accurate batching, production and quality records, and promptly reporting any variations.

Monitoring raw material stock levels and communicating replenishment requirements.





Completing cleaning and routine operator maintenance in accordance with safe work and isolation procedures.

Supporting general production duties and forklift operation where appropriately licensed and authorised.

About You

You will be a practical, focused individual who takes pride in getting the details right. You will understand the importance of consistency in concrete production and take ownership of the safe, efficient operation of your equipment and work area.

You will:

Have experience in concrete batching, precast manufacturing or a similar production environment, with concrete batching experience highly regarded.

Have excellent attention to detail when following mix designs, checking quantities and recording production information.

Be confident using computerised controls and learning recent plant and equipment.

Have sound numeracy skills and the ability to follow technical instructions and production schedules.

Be able to identify inconsistencies, troubleshoot operational issues and work with production and maintenance teams to resolve them.

Follow safe work procedures and promptly report hazards, faults and quality concerns.

Communicate clearly and work well within a team, while showing initiative and taking responsibility for your work.

Hold a forklift licence, or be willing to obtain one.

Be available to work a full-time production roster. This is not a part-time role.
