Primary & High School Tutors – Maths, English, Science, Physics & Chemistry

Orange Academy is seeking tutors to teach primary and high school students in Maths, English, Science, Physics, Chemistry and other HSC subjects.

Applicants can specialise in one or more subjects and year levels. You do not need to teach all of the subjects listed.

Lessons are primarily delivered in person, with some online lessons arranged depending on student needs.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group lessons.
- Prepare lessons and practice activities suited to each student’s level and learning goals.
- Explain concepts clearly in English and help students build confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
- Mark students’ work, provide constructive feedback and share brief progress updates with our team.

About you

- Solid knowledge of your chosen subjects and familiarity with the NSW school curriculum.
- Clear English communication skills and the ability to deliver lessons in English.
- A patient and encouraging teaching approach.
- Reliable, well prepared and able to commit to a regular teaching schedule.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
