Located in Pemberton WA 6260, Pemberley of Pemberton is a family-owned vineyard and winery producing premium cool-climate wines, grapes and gourmet Southern Forests food products. The business also operates a cellar door and hosts wine experiences and seasonal events.
Pemberley of Pemberton is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Vineyard Worker to join their team and support daily vineyard operations.

The right candidate will be responsible for:

- Assisting with daily vineyard operations, including planting, maintaining and harvesting grapevines.
- Pruning, training and tying grapevines to promote healthy growth and maximise grape quality.
- Monitoring vine growth and identifying signs of pests, diseases and nutrient deficiencies.
- Assisting with irrigation activities, including operating and maintaining irrigation systems.
- Carrying out vineyard maintenance tasks, including weeding, mulching and managing vegetation between vine rows.
- Applying fertilisers and vineyard treatments in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
- Assisting with grape harvesting, including picking, sorting and preparing grapes for transportation to the winery.
- Operating and maintaining vineyard machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting vineyard infrastructure, including trellises, posts,



wires and irrigation equipment, and performing basic repairs when required.
- Monitoring vineyard conditions and reporting any issues affecting vine health or grape production.
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe vineyard work areas.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures, including safe chemical handling and equipment operation.

About you:

- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Vineyard Worker or in a similar agricultural role.
- Knowledge of vineyard operations, including pruning, vine training, irrigation and grape harvesting.
- Ability to safely operate vineyard machinery, tools and agricultural equipment.
- Basic understanding of vine health, pest and disease management and vineyard maintenance practices.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks in outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to detail when maintaining vines and monitoring grape quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete vineyard tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, particularly during busy harvesting periods.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and safe chemical handling practices.

Job Type: Permanent/Full time
Salary: $68,000.00 – $75,000.00 per annum.
