The Role

A reputable and established business operating within the manufacturing and engineering sectors, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and engineered solutions to a diverse customer base. The company is experiencing continued growth and is looking to strengthen its operations and finance function to support its expanding business.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the optimisation of the financial accounting processes and reporting;

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

- Manage month-end close activities, including the preparation and posting of monthly accruals.
- Analyse monthly movements across the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss, providing transparent commentary on key variances and financial results.
- Prepare monthly reporting packs for internal stakeholders, highlighting key financial performance and movements.
- Prepare audit and tax schedules and supporting documentation as required.
- Review monthly GST reconciliations and ensure appropriate follow-up of discrepancies
- Financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Forecast cash flow, with a focus on capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting
- Management of accounts payable function

Your Skills & Experience

- CA/CPA qualified, with strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.




- Technically strong and commercially minded, with the ability to apply accounting knowledge to a broader business environment.
- Highly organised with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving capability.
- Demonstrated experience working within complex ERP environments; strong SAP experience will be highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance and broader business functions.
