The Jetty Pavilion is looking for an experienced Chefs to join our kitchen team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. Our business is known for quality, handcrafted food, and we're growing.
About the role:
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard
- Develop and update menu items, including seasonal specials
- Manage food ordering, stock levels and portion control to minimise waste
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant at all times
- Work collaboratively with kitchen teams,
front of house staff and management to ensure efficient service and operations.
About you:
- Formal qualifications in commercial cookery AQF Associate Certificate IV or higher level
- Minimum one year experience as a chef in a commercial kitchen
- Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team and across rostered days/hours
- Right to work in Australia
What we offer:
- Salary of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
