NEW JOB – RESIDENTIAL FACILITY MANAGER – EAST PERTH

Your New CompanyAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee a premium mixed-use residential precinct located in East Perth. This modern asset comprises approximately 250 residential apartments, retail tenancies at ground level, and a range of resident amenities including a pool and gym.Working closely with residents, tenants, contractors and key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation, presentation and compliance of the facility while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Your New RoleReporting to the relevant property leadership team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of the asset, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard and all statutory obligations are met.Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the daily operations of a mixed-use residential complex comprising residential and retail components
- Building strong relationships with residents, owners, tenants and the strata committee
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities across the property
- Managing service contractors and monitoring performance against agreed service levels
- Overseeing the operation and maintenance of building services including HVAC, fire, lifts, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, safety and risk management requirements
- Managing contractor inductions, permits and site safety processes
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and expenditure control
- Responding to stakeholder enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner




- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure excellent asset presentation and operational performance

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will possess strong stakeholder management skills together with proven experience managing operational facilities within a residential, mixed-use or commercial environment.
You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in Facilities Management, Building Management or Property Operations
- Experience managing residential, mixed-use or commercial assets
- Strong stakeholder and tenant engagement capabilities
- Demonstrated contractor management experience
- Solid understanding of building services and maintenance management
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Candidates with residential facilities management experience will be highly regarded, however, strong commercial facilities management professionals seeking to transition into a residential environment are encouraged to apply.
