Accounts Payable Officer _Northern Suburbs_Holiday Cover to 23rd December

Your new company
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established construction business on a short-term temporary assignment covering the lead-up to Christmas.This is a hands-on, high-volume AP role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently with minimal supervision and maintain strong accuracy in a busy environment.

Your recent role

- Process approximately 50–60 invoices per day
- Prepare invoices for approval and payment
- Check and adjust GST where required
- Ensure invoices meet PO requirements
- Liaise with Project Managers to follow up on outstanding approvals
- System – Sage
- Support the wider finance team with day-to-day AP requirements

What you'll need to succeed

- Strong high-volume Accounts Payable experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident,



working independently and managing priorities
- Previous Sage experience preferred
- Construction or project-based industry experience would be highly regarded
- Available for the full assignment from 23 November to 23 December
